Gee it's hard to fit it all in during school holidays. If you are not driving the kids around, kids at yours house, Mummy's staying for coffee, kids wanting your attention...I love school holidays, I really don't like the grind of school but it''s hard 12 weeks out.
Today is no gym day, I love it. I went very hard on the cardio and posed tonight, not for as long as I would have liked but at least I did it. I am getting better and better.
Diet has been very hard when the kids have mountains of Easter Eggs left. They are eating it in front of me because I am sitting with them watching a dvd. Enough is enough, the kids are over the chocolate and I am over looking and dribbling after it. I am going to pay my kids for the eggs and throw them out. They love it, they get to buy that book etc they have been wanting...win, win except of course for the money!!!
Had a wonderful experience today when I discovered Waldon Farms in now in Australia..yummy things with almost no calories, no sugar alcohols and other bad stuff. I have ordered some things online as I am almost always reading Amercian forums and the competitors rave how this stuff stops an unplanned cheat.....I can't wait.
I have been eating lots of greens, kale, chickory, sweet mustard etc etc, they are very nice and very easy to wok within minutes. I have had lots of fats because I add olive oil or nuts etc...all good fats and all in my ratios.
Legs tomorrow with Sharon..i always fear these days

86 Days and A Great Days Training :)
Oh I have had an awesome day today. First I had training with Sharon at 7.30am and I busted my back and arms with her...wonderful training with my favourite deadlifts at the end. Cardio after whilst trying not to use my wasted arms.
I could hardly drive home, my arms were dead, seriously. I spent a lovely relaxing day on the couch and watching dvd's whilst of course doing housework and ironing...lol...i am the greatest at multi tasking. A late afternoon sleep on my daughters bed....ahhh what more could I want.
Back to the gym after dinner for the girls etc and moved onto abs and did a fantastic workout with 60kgs on my cable crunches and beautiful form on my hanging leg raises...then I had a date with the stepmill..again and powered through a sweaty 20mins which I was unsure if I could finish but I did!!!!
My new body is certainly getting comments and compliments in my local gym. It is amazing how many people now speak to me about how I got this way. It is so nice and I always feel very proud. I seem to be holding my head up high, shoulders back and chest out most of the time...Sharon's in my head..lol

87 days or could be 25?
Last night I receive a text from my trainer asking if I want to do a smaller comp on the 9th May? Well...do I? Probably! It will be a push, I haven't let my leg hair grow out, no routine, posing still not perfect (but improving), no bikini, and still kilos above what I 'thought' my comp weight should be. The good news is...I am so close to being ready..lean, and my weight is dropping despite still eating around 1600 calories a day! I am waiting for my legs to show some more improvements although Sharon feels the lines will come out once she starts mucking around with carbs and water. I trust her.
So I am going hard and looking forward to the challenge and getting my 1st stage appearance in the pocket. I am looking at this show as a practice one but I still want to win it! mmmmmm let see where this goes.

94 Days and Some New Photos

.jpg)
What a day!
I got up at 5.30am and had a shower. I wasn't feeling too bad considering how I was feeling yesterday. I slept a long time last night and took my 1st dose of Tribulus. I knew I would feel better once I saw Sharon...at least I was AT training.
So with a sore throat, headache and sinus pain I started training. Sharon was making it a light one and for that I was grateful. I was doing some underhand chin ups (now up to 6) when one of the other personal trainers told me that my back looks fantastic and like a road map! Well I was delighted because I thought I had a couple of lines coming through...then Sharon made me go and get my phone/camera and started taking photos of me training.
I really could not believe that was me....seriously!! It all looked amazing and so much more than I had thought..I still can't believe it and keep looking at them.
We had a wonderful training session and a great chat after about contest dates and a bit of forward planning...I am so glad I went to training!!

95 Days and Conked Out During Training
I have a little cold, nothing major and you would think that this would not affect my training. It's funny - mot ha ha funny! how your deplete body works and really it only works properly when everything is running perfectly.
School holidays so I was dishing out jobs and instructions before leaving the house. Of course I had to have the obligational fight with Keeley to get her to understand she actually is not a passenger in the house...grrrr. So I finally arrived at the gym a little later but with new songs in my ipod and my mood good I was ready to train.
I decided to train my abs and calves 1st this morning. I always train them last and understand on most occasions this is prudent but I think they haven't been getting enough attention lately. I supersetted the exercises and was working up a good sweat. Moved then onto some shoulders and chest and a little butt, was loving it and then BANG!! I completely ran out of energy and felt quite unwell suddenly. I literally couldn't complete another set. I thought maybe I was going to be sick....and hurried to eat some quick carbs and have a protein shake. Of course I felt a lot better after eating but still not well enough to keep going.
I called Sharon to let her know. It's so great to have someone to call and someone to tell you it's normal. She also told me to keep my training under 45mins and I had been going for an hour!. She basically told me to listen to my body, go home and rest and don't push it.
Now it's 5.50pm and I am wondering whether or not to go and do some cardio esp as I didn't do any this morning or do I leave it until tomorrow?? I feel like my body is just starting to drop the fat from the legs at the moment and I don't want to drop my bundle and upset my progress. The sensible me knows the body fat loss is not in the cardio but in the diet.........so go up in the bath, watch what you are eating and get ready for tomorrow..You can't out train a bad diet
My diet has been good today...have run out of green veges and leaves so will do a big green shop tomorrow and of course buy lots more chicken.
Also got my hands on some tribulus today and will start taking tonight to see if my energy levels improve...anything will be an improvement.

96 Days and a Cold
Great night sleep again last night and woke up really ready for my oats. Scott offered to go and make them and bring them back up to me but I declined. He couldn't understand why?? Well I had to tell him
"Last time you made them for me the oats overflowed in the microwave and I got a little less than 1/2 cup!! " "Sorry! but I really need my full 1/2 cup"
Oh he laughed and laughed. I really understood how much a few grains mean to me now.
Started to feel unwell in the early afternoon and as Keeley has been unwell this past week I knew what may be coming my way. Sore throat and very watery eyes......more vitamin c please.
I got my skipping rope out for my cardio and moved the high step into position and got started..well I just felt yuk. I put down my skipping rope and asked Scott if he was up for a walk.
We had a great fast walk for around 50minutes. Cardio done and I felt good that I did it today.
Didn't eat too much today as I was at a friends house who was demonstrating a blender and making all sorts of yummy things. Well again I was the one sitting there with my glass of water dribbling all over the place. As soon as I got back home I was hunting in the pantry whilst my vegetables were cooking. Once I had my chicken and vegetables I felt better. I knew I was going to Scotts mums for dinner so kept my calories low. She is so understanding finally of what I am doing and made me steak and vegetable stew...yum.
When I look back at all the support I am getting and all the people making allowances and sacrifices my friend's saying comes to mind
"There are a lot of people with skin on the court" and she is right!

97 Days and Melbourne State INBA Show
A great hamstring workout today after a huge sleep in. I never usually sleep in now. If I am not getting up early for training it's school runs. Even on the weekends I now have trouble sleeping in because I wake up and then can't go back to sleep because I want my oats. Yes! My Oats! My most favourite meal of the day...yummmm and who would have thought...these oats are made with water and splenda. I mean..I am from English heritage, we have always had our oats with milk and LOTS of sugar. Anyway today I slept right through til 10.20am. I was amazed but when I look back to the last week I have been running myself silly and have been unusually tired and grumpy.
So this morning (late) I took Keeley (13 year old daughter) to the gym with me. She really likes to be involved with all this and I enjoy her company. So, she hung around whilst I did a lot of 1/2 squats and lots of great stuff for my hamstrings. I supersetted most things with my ab exercises. I ran out of time for cardio today so will do extra tomorrow. Maybe a long, long walk.
Of course I cut a little of my calories due to no cardio and ate very clean.
We all went to the bodybuilding competition tonight. This is the competition I should have gone in. I always say my posing wasn't right, my legs aren't lean enough and a number of other excuses but the bottom line was, I was too chicken.
This was nice competition and I think if I was in condition I would have been competitive. It will be nice to be very ready for the next one although the competition may be harder and there will be more girls in every division. Oh well, it will be what it will be.
It was interesting to see the girls on stage posing and then relating it back to what I am being taught. I think Sharon really knows what she is doing, if I can pick it all up then I will be able to show off my muscles beautifully.
My lower back is aching due to Fridays posing session. Amazing how much posing can work your body. A nice hot water bottle and a day off gym tomorrow should have me back with vengence.
